This was an excellent story. In the tradition of Armistad Maupin, Michael Disend transcends the barriers of sexuality like no other San Francisco writer. Penman's veiled homosexuality is written subtly but believably. The story's courage in speaking out about the frustrations of male homosexuality was admirable and touching. We in the LGBT community embrace his writings and will look for more of his fine work.

This story is very interesting to say the least. I'm not sure I get it entirely.
I do however, commend you for your courage in such brutally honest and real diction.
I like how it was a jade horse and the beginning of the story and then progressed into a green one- as thought something else about Penman had also changed.
